It’s easy to find your way around the shops in Arnhem. The main shopping streets are full of charm and are grouped closely together in the city centre. There is a majestic arcade in the classy Musis Quarter (Musiskwartier), narrow streets and we can recommend a brief pause to admire its magnificent square. In the Alleys Quarter (Stegenkwartier) and the 7 little streets (7straatjes) just behind the main shopping street in the city centre, you’ll find plenty of charming shops. The narrow streets are delightful and the attractive stores offer all kinds of unique products. . The 7straatjes in Arnhem encompass the following seven streets: Arke Noachstraat, Bentinckstraat, Eiland, Kerkstraat, Pastoorstraat, Wielakkerstraat and the Zwanenstraat.

The neighbourhood of Klarendal is walking distance from Arnhem's central shopping area and home to numerous fashion designers. You can purchase the latest fashions directly from the designers here, as well as some truly unique accessories. If you are looking for something eye-catching for your interior or the latest design, then you’ll be intrigued by the stories the designers in the Fashion Quarter have to tell and the products they sell. They are open for business from Thursday to Saturday and sell bags, hats, vintage, green fashion, accessories and design. You can also watch some of the designers at work in their studios. Art market
On every last Saturday of the month in the months April to October, there is an art market on the Jansplein from 10.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Artists from all over the country take part in the Arnhem art market. The range and diversity of art forms on display is huge. There is everything, from paintings to sculptures, from stained-glass to photography, from textiles to glass work, from ceramics to jewellery and everything in between.
